Dear CincyAI Community Member —

Hope you enjoyed the holidays with loved ones and that your 2026 is off to a wonderful start!

Our first meeting to kick off the new year is this coming Tuesday, January 6, from 3-5pm in room 140 at the UC Digital Futures building located at 3080 Exploration Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45206. There are a few open spots if you’d still like to attend.

Also, our Tuesday, February 10 registration is also available — RSVP for free today!

Since CincyAI launched in October 2023, we have quickly grown into the largest AI meetup in Ohio and the Cincinnati tri-state region. With over 1,900 members strong dedicated to ensuring that no one gets left out of the AI revolution, we’re a community focused on connecting, collaborating, and learning from one another — a rising tide lifts all ships!

Looking back at last year, CincyAI:

• Was recognized as a Finalist for the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Fire Awards “Disruptor” category

• Collaborated with Cincinnati AI Catalyst, Cincy AI Week, MidwestCon, IGNITE 2025, and other community partners

• Conducting the second annual “State of AI for Greater Cincinnati and NKY” Survey — be part of it and take the survey today! (Deadline: Jan 31)

• Co-hosted the Future of Data Hackathon for Nonprofits in September

• Organized a CincyAI Cohort at SXSW in Austin in March

• Collaborated on the Cincinnati Regional Chamber: AI Business Summit Series

• Hosted 10 tours of UC Digital Futures

• Celebrated our 2-year anniversary!

As we look forward to 2026, we’ve also been listening to the community and are excited to share that we’ll be expanding our programming. We’ll be introducing an online community platform, interest subgroups called CincyAI Human Huddles, and curated dinners — stay tuned for more details soon!

We’re extremely proud to champion Responsible AI and a human-centered future alongside our community partners in our strong, local AI ecosystem. There’s so much heart in Cincinnati, and it comes through not only in each of our meetings but also in the AI solutions we're building. Together, we’re making a positive impact in our local community that’s reverberating globally.

Kendra and I are so grateful for this incredible community and look forward to all that’s in store this year!

As a reminder, the first 15 meetup registrants who also sign up for it on Eventbrite can get a tour of UC’s Digital Futures! These are on a first-come, first-served basis and are an excellent opportunity to learn about all of the amazing labs and research that’s taking place in the building. Each tour will start at 2:30pm and is led by the wonderful Kyle Maycock. These will be taking place before every meeting in 2026!
