Dear CincyAI Community Member — 

I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Our next meetup is on Tuesday, June 4, and it is currently sold out! (If your plans have changed, please update your RSVP so other folks can join.)

You can also RSVP for July’s — register for our July 9 CincyAI for Humans meetup today! And for July, Greg Goshorn is going to lead a 101 marketing and AI training ahead of our 3pm meetup. You can sign up for this on Eventbrite when you register.

As you know, all our meetups are 3-5pm in room 140 at the UC Digital Futures building located at 3080 Exploration Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45206.

One of the big announcements from May’s event is Cincy AI Week that will take place this June 11-13! This is powered by the Enterprise Technology Association and the Cincinnati AI Catalyst group in addition to community partners, including CincyAI. For those who are builders, Carl Fraik who heads up the Cincinnati AI Catalyst, invites you to join the Cincinnati AI Builders Forum group on LinkedIn — request to join today! The mission of this Forum is to enhance the skills and productivity of the "builders" of AI-enabled systems and solutions in the Cincinnati Region. We will accomplish this by providing a regularly scheduled forum, where AI practitioners will collaborate with their peers to share best practices, provide training, and give advice on how to solve specific problems related to building AI applications.

UC Digital Futures Updates

UC, Nexigen agree to collaborate on AI security

An agreement between the University of Cincinnati and information technology and cybersecurity firm Nexigen will lead to collaboration on artificial intelligence, which includes a goal of making the technology more secure.
Nexigen, one of the Cincinnati region's largest IT service and cybersecurity firms, builds technology solutions for companies in the United States. While not a legally binding contract, the agreement between the Kentucky-based company and UC will lead to cooperation on securing grants, give UC students real-world experience and provide Nexigen with expertise from UC faculty and students.
