Dear CincyAI Community Member —
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones! Given the holiday, you’re receiving an extra reminder for tomorrow’s meetup — and it’s a special one as we’re partnering with the Adobe-led Content Authenticity Initiative for some special programming (more on this below!). 🎉
Tomorrow’s meetup on Tuesday, December 3, is completely sold out, so if your plans have changed at all, please update your rsvp. Also, our first meetup of 2025 on January 14 is open for registration — sign up today!
🥁 In case you missed it, Kendra and I are excited to share our special guest speaker line-up for our December 3rd meetup:
⭐️ Nick Gatz, Sr. Manager, State and Local Government, Adobe
⭐️ Tim Murphy, Co-Founder, Pixelstream
⭐️ Erin Oberhauser, Co-Founder, Pixelstream
As the largest AI community in Ohio, we’re proud to partner with the Adobe-led Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) and share the incredible work they’re doing to restore trust and transparency in the age of AI.
Join us on Tuesday, December 3, from 3-5pm at the University of Cincinnati's UC Digital Futures to learn more about:
👉 The CAI and how the community is working to restore trust and transparency in the age of generative AI, and ways to get involved.
👉 Content Credentials, like a digital nutrition label for content, enabling anyone to understand the provenance or history of content. Learn why it’s important, how the standard is rolling out across the Internet, and see a demo on how to add your attribution, set your AI training preferences, and more.
👉 How legislators are crafting state and federal policies to help mitigate the harms of AI and to include provenance or disclosure in generative AI products.
👉 How CAI member Pixelstream integrates Content Credentials in a mobile camera, editing tools, and services for creators and consumers.
Don’t miss this opportunity to get a download on this important movement and to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the final CincyAI meetup of the year!
Also, the first 15 people who sign up can get a tour of UC’s Digital Futures! These are on a first-come, first-served basis and are an excellent opportunity to learn about all of the amazing labs and research that’s taking place in the building. Each tour will start at 2:30pm.
Friends help shape the future of AI in Greater Cincinnati and NKY! We're launching the CincyAI for Humans State of AI Survey to capture the voices across our community. This brief survey (takes less than 4 minutes) is your chance to share valuable insights on AI use, adoption, and challenges in our region — completely anonymously.
Why participate? Your feedback will contribute to the 2025 State of AI Report for Greater Cincinnati and NKY, an in-depth resource to help local leaders understand the opportunities and barriers to AI adoption.
Survey Deadline (Extended!): December 13
Report Release: Q1 2025
Be a part of this important initiative and lend your voice to our community’s AI journey. Thank you for your support! 🤗
Also, a massive thank you to our sponsors Seven Hills Technology and Big Kitty Labs. Our sponsors help cover the costs of hosting CincyAI, a volunteer organization, including food, drink, photography, and video. Sponsors like these help make CincyAI possible! If you’re interested in sponsoring, don’t be shy. 😉
We’re honored to partner with and host our CincyAI meetups at the UC Digital Futures building, an interdisciplinary research facility home to globally recognized leading research in responsible AI. A special thank you to our organizing partner, Dr. Kelly Cohen. If you’re interested in learning more about how you can partner with UC Research Labs to save costs and time researching, testing, and validating your AI initiatives, visit: https://ucdigitalfutures.com.
We also want to thank Ellie and Laura from À Lala Carte for the amazing charcuterie cups and David Choate’s DC Productions for the fantastic photos, video coverage, and editing.
The gratitude continues to our volunteers: Sabrina Donley, Irv Cassio, Greg Goshorn, and Tushar Kulkarni!
And most importantly: THANK YOU!
We couldn’t be more excited to have you be part of the largest AI community in the region and for being part of this dynamic community where the whole is not just greater but exponential in its impact. We’re an important node to the burgeoning AI ecosystem here in Cincinnati, leading the way with Responsible AI.
Thank you!
