Happy Veterans Day! Thank you to everyone in our community who is a veteran — we appreciate you and all you’ve done to serve and protect our community and nation.

Also, thank you to everyone who joined us for our November meetup and to those who got up and inspired us with what you’re excited about during the QuickBytes portion!

Friends help shape the future of AI in Greater Cincinnati and NKY! We're launching the CincyAI for Humans State of AI Survey to capture the voices across our community. This brief survey (takes less than 4 minutes) is your chance to share valuable insights on AI use, adoption, and challenges in our region — completely anonymously.

During our QuickBytes, there will be special programming in addition to our regular QuickBytes that includes:

👉The Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI), how the community is working to restore trust and transparency in the age of generative AI, and ways to get involved. 

👉How legislators around the world are crafting state and federal policies to help mitigate the harms of AI and to include provenance or disclosure in generative AI products.

👉Content Credentials, like a digital nutrition label for content, enabling anyone to understand the provenance or history of content. Learn why it’s important, how the standard is rolling out across the Internet, and see a demo on how to add your attribution, set your AI training preferences, and more.

A representative from Adobe will be joining us — stay tuned for updates!

You won’t want to miss this opportunity to get a download on this important movement and to connect, collaborate, and celebrate the final CincyAI meetup of the year!

Don’t forget that the first 15 people who sign up can get a tour of UC’s Digital Futures! These are on a first-come, first-served basis and are an excellent opportunity to learn about all of the amazing labs and research that’s taking place in the building. Each tour will start at 2:30pm.

Submit your breakout session presentation proposal form by Friday, Nov. 8. DTS will notify selected presenters by Monday, Nov. 25.
