Dear CincyAI Community Member —

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!

We have a lot of discount codes for upcoming events from our friends and community partners in our Cincinnati A.I. ecosystem, so don’t miss the chance to soak in more A.I. content at a discount offered to our CincyAI community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past week at our June meetup. This is a big month for Cincinnati as this coming week is Cincy AI Week!

There are a few spots left for our July meetup, so if you haven’t already: Register for our July 9 CincyAI for Humans meetup today!

For our July meetup, we’re going to mix things up and do a few 5-minute lightning demos instead of our QuickBytes. We’re going to explore an every other month frequency of both. Interested in doing a demo on how you use A.I. that’d benefit the community? Reply to this email and let Kendra and I know what you’d like to demo!

Also, Greg Goshorn will lead a 101 marketing and AI training ahead of our 3pm meetup. You can sign up for this on Eventbrite when you register.

As you know, all our meetups are 3-5pm in room 140 at the UC Digital Futures building located at 3080 Exploration Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45206.

This Tuesday kicks off Cincy AI Week! It will take place June 11-13 and is powered by the Enterprise Technology Association and the Cincinnati AI Catalyst group in addition to community partners, including CincyAI. For those who are builders, Carl Fraik who heads up the Cincinnati AI Catalyst, invites you to join the Cincinnati AI Builders Forum group on LinkedIn — request to join today!

On July 11 for hands-on A.I. learning, join the NKU BizAccessHub AI Bootcamp: I didn't know AI could do that! Kendra and Helen are both trainers. This is a great opportunity for those who are A.I. curious to get hands-on learning and support. Use code AI50 to get $50 off regular admission!

Our friends at Black Tech Week, which is taking place in Cincinnati July 16-18 at the Aronoff Center, have a special discount code for CincyAI members! Use code CINCYAI for 25% off until June 30th! Register today: https://www.blacktechweek.com/

Also, the Best in Tech Awards hosted by The Circuit is on September 12 - Nominate an organization or individual today!

If you find CincyAI valuable, consider making a donation when registering on EventBrite. We’re a volunteer organization, and every little bit helps to fill the gap from our sponsors and the costs to run the meetups.

Also, a massive thank you to our sponsors Seven Hills Technology, Big Kitty Labs, The Circuit, and Analysis Express. Our sponsors help cover the costs of hosting CincyAI, a volunteer organization, including food, drink, photography, and video. Big Kitty Labs will also be building our CincyAI website. Sponsors like these help make CincyAI possible! If you’re interested in sponsoring, don’t be shy. 😉

We’re honored to partner with and host our CincyAI meetups at the UC Digital Futures building, an interdisciplinary research facility home to globally recognized leading research in responsible AI. A special thank you to our organizing partner, Dr. Kelly Cohen. We also want to thank Ellie and Laura from À Lala Carte for the amazing charcuterie cups and David Choate’s DC Productions for the fantastic photos, video coverage, and editing.

The gratitude continues to our volunteers: Sabrina Donley, Irv Cassio, Greg Goshorn, and Tushar Kulkarni!

And most importantly: THANK YOU!

We couldn’t be more excited to have you be part of the largest AI community in the region and for being part of this dynamic community where the whole is not just greater, but exponential in its impact. We’re an important node to the burgeoning AI ecosystem here in Cincinnati, leading the way with Responsible AI.

Thank you! And hope all of the moms in our community had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday!

CincyAI LinkedIn Group & Directory

We are so excited to keep the conversations, collaboration, and connections going beyond just our monthly meetups. Here are other ways to stay connected with the CincyAI community:

  • LinkedIn Group

    • You voted! And our new digital hub for CincyAI Meetup will be our newly created LinkedIn Group. Please join us there and feel free to introduce yourself and share what aspects of AI interest you, as well as any asks you have for the community. We’ll keep the sharing, connecting, and collaborating going in this space. See you there!

  • CincyAI Meetup Directory & Submission Form

    • In the spirit of connecting and collaborating, we’re starting a directory of everyone in the community. Feel free to submit your contact details to be included. This will also be a great resource to audit all of the amazing AI talent and projects that we have right here in Cincinnati! (And we’ll roll out a resource hub next, so stay tuned for that ;)

June Meetup Video

If you missed our last meetup or want to hear what was said again, we've got you covered with this recap video, and you can catch all of them in our CincyAI Video Playlist.

June Event Photos

Check out the photos from our last meetup!  Feel free to share the photos and use #CincyAI! Word of mouth definitely contributes to our growing community.

We just put all of the photos up on Flickr to make them more accessible and easier to share.
